A vote on the increase in the limit for exports of out-of-quota EU sugar was again postponed at mid-December’s Management Committee meeting in Brussels. Representatives from the Commission confirmed that they were in no hurry to increase the limit, acknowledging that they had received information confirming that supplies on the market are tight.
