The state-run Thai Cane and Sugar Corporation (TCSC) will open a tender to sell 40,000 tonnes of 2010/11 raw sugar next week, a senior TCSC official said on 9 November. “The tender will be held on November 17 and traders can submit prices at premiums over New York raw sugar futures,” the official said. The premium on Thai raw sugar for July to September 2011 shipment was offered at 300 points over the New York raw sugar market, traders said.
