Peru – Gloria Peruvian group invests in new sugar plant [Registered]

Gloria Group entered the Peruvian sugar and ethanol market in 2006, when it created the Coazucar (Sugar Corporation of Peru), currently responsible for 40% of the domestic market and 60% of exports. The group also has plants in Ecuador and Argentina. It produces 3700 tons of sugar per day and 700,000 litres of ethanol per day.
