USA – Beet grower co-operatives get US$285 million following crop damage from frost and drought [Full subscriber]

On 28th February, chairmen from the House Agriculture Committee Chairman and Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee announced that six beet sugar processing cooperatives will receive US$285 million in disaster assistance to help growers impacted by frost damage late last year as well as drought in 2018, according to local press reports.
