Sugar exports from Brazil slows down [Registered]

Export bound sugar at ports in Brazil, declined 25% over the first week in January, according to Williams Servicos Maritimos Ltda., as demand slowed, reported Bloomberg. About 918,433 tonnes of sugar was waiting to be loaded onto ships at Recife, Maceio, Paranagua and Santos. This compares with 1.22 million tonnes exported a week earlier.
