AKS Saeed Saudi Arabia has plans to build a $200 mln sugar refinery in Saudi Arabia, according to the Brazil-Arab News Agency. The unit should be supplied by imports of nearly one million tonnes of the raw product from Brazil per year. The information was given to the Brazilian minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), Neri Geller, during a visit in Saudi Arabia in early November as he met with the group’s CEO, Khalid Saleh Almusa.
