Risk of farm accidents increase with age [Registered]

One of the compelling realities of the farming industry in the west is that with young people not joining their family business, average age in such farming communities is presently around 60 years. In a recently published study in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine, researchers from the University of Alberta found that older farmers operating heavy machinery and equipment were exposed to risk of serious injury.
