Philippines – US lobbied to protect sugar export quotas [Registered]

Philippine sugar industry sources are concerned that if the US adopts a globalised quota allocation for the import of sugar after the review of the US Farm Bill, they might lose their sugar quota to the US under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) scheme.
