Peru – Maple Energy produces 3 million gallons ethanol from cane [Registered]

Maple Energy produced almost 3 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol at its Peru-based biofuel plant between 1 January and 31 March this year according to a recent company update. Some 160,000 tonnes of sugarcane was processed for ethanol production. The average ethanol yield during this period was approximately 20.5 gallons per net tonne of sugarcane processed.
