Sugar plants enhance efficiency and boost output with variable speed drives [Full subscriber]

Abstract The effective use of variable speed drives (VSDs) to improve energy efficiency in sugar factories is discussed as well as how VSDs help to increase productivity and create new revenue streams from selling excess energy to local power networks.
