Sugar and health: What does the science really tell us? [Full subscriber]

Alarmist stories about the health effects of sugar appear daily in the popular media. These have led policy makers to consider measures to discourage sugar consumption. This article outlines the scientific evidence on which policy decisions about sugar should be based.
