Modular evaporators [Full subscriber]

Reboiler evaporators are common in process industries, including cane ethanol plants. They are used to provide heat to distillation columns by boiling the liquid from the bottom of a distillation column to generate vapours, which are returned to the column to drive the distillation separation. Typically, a reboiler is situated externally to the distillation column. Recently the concept has been applied to cane juice evaporation and has a number of advantages worth considering.
