Heat and moisture release from raw sugar by ventilation with ambient air [Full subscriber]

It has been shown that depending on the length of raw sugar storage, its color may increase significantly. This color rise can lead to loss of profits for the mill, especially where premiums are offered for VHP (very high pol) and VLC (very low color) raw sugar. In our previous study, it was found that moisture and temperature were the main contributing factors to the rate of color rise.
