Cellulosic biofuels – The next five years [Full subscriber]

Recent news on new capacities in the United States and Brazil as well as new projects in Asia has brought cellulosic biofuels production pathways from non-food resources back in the headlines. In figures: we currently see a worldwide industrial production capacity of advanced biofuels1, mainly cellulosic ethanol, of 561 mln litres, up from 51 mln at the start of the decade.
