Pakistan – Sugar production recovers [Registered]
Pakistan produced 3,333,950 tonnes of sugar, white value, between the start of the 2010/11 crushing season and 15 March, the Ministry of Industries and Production said. It did not give a comparative figure for the same period a year ago but projected the country in January to produce 3.9-4.0 million tonnes of sugar this season. The Pakistan Sugar Mills Association projected 2010/11 sugar output at 3.6 million tonnes in early February, below a previous projection of 3.8 million tonnes.… Login to continue
