Nutritive fibre from cane opens up new revenue stream [Registered]

An Australian compay, KFSU, based in the cane growing state Queensland is about to fully exploit the commercial value of bagasse as nutritive fibre. For the past five years the company has been developing and commercialising dietary fibre from cane to enter the global market worth U$3 billion and growing at 13% annually. KFSU markets the product as FibacelTM. It is a pale cream coloured product processed chemically free, milled to customer’s specifications of 20-1000μm.
