New microwave method converts used motor oil into fuel [Registered]

According to a report presented at the 241st National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS), a new process for recycling waste motor oil into gasoline-like fuel was showcased. The research is led by Howard Chase, Professor of Biochemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom and undertaken by his doctoral student Su Shiung Lam.
