Market overview  Combination of glut and weak demand continues to inform the persistence of a bearish market. Barring divine intervention through adverse weather impacting output in major sugar producing regions the lack of volatility in price will continue. As Howard Jenkins points out in a recent piece, the market has become “lethargic” – over the past nine months, “the entire price range has been just 218 points.
