Market Overview Raw sugar futures on ICE hit a six week high on 16th April, nearing 17 cents per lb. On 20th April, May raw sugar settled at 16.62 cents lb. A combination of factors is driving the market, in particular, upbeat economic data from China and the United States mediated by relatively successful rollout of vaccinations against Covid-19 and supply worries.
