Market overview The March raw sugar was at 15.55 cents per lb on 19th February. This was a slight drop from the to a 2-1/2 year high of 15.90 cents a week earlier. It is apparent that the growing deficits forecast this season marked by Thailand’s output to drop to 9 million tonnes (5 million tonnes less than the previous year) is a key driver.
