July ’22 raw sugar ended at 19.60 cents per lb on 25th May. Following the relative excitement that India would restrict sugar exports to 10 million tonnes in the 2021/22 season, it became apparent to the traders that with 8.2 million tonnes dispatched, mills have already signed contracts to export 9.1 million tonnes sugar.
