Market Overview The protracted bear market in sugar has had a wide ranging impact on most of the publicly listed sugar companies. Their value has halved within the last 18-24 months and most analysts see little to be cheerful about in the next couple of months as expectations for a balanced world market in 2014/15 are not enough to lift the spirit of investors.
