Material scientists turn pure metal into glass [Registered]

  Materials scientists at the University of Pittsburgh have successfully produced glass from pure, monoatomic metals which previously has been considered to be very difficult. The lead research Professor Scott Mao, says, “This is a fundamental issue explored by people in this field for a long time, but nobody could solve the problem.
