Lignin demonstration plant in Canada commences operations [Registered]

Canadian not for profit R&D company FPInnovations in partnership with the Centre for Research and Innovation in the Bio Economy (CRIBE), Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) and AbitibiBowater has started producing its first batches of operational lignin at a demonstration plant in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Wood waste from a nearby kraft pulp mill is the source of lignin.
