Lack of finance forces closure of Sekab’s cellulosic ethanol pilot plant [Registered]

Sekab is to shut down its cellulosic ethanol pilot plant in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden due to lack of funding. The project funded by the Swedish Energy Agency, EU and private investors including Sekab is short of 20 million SEK ($2.9 million) for 2012. Some 25 people will lose their jobs.
