Indonesia – Cane acreage needs to expand by further 350,000 ha for self-sufficiency [Registered]

Indonesia would require more than 350,000 ha of extra sugarcane farmland to meet its objective for sugar self-sufficiency, way more than the 450,000 ha cultivated now, Agriculture Minister Suswono said.
