India – New sugar factory approved by the Chhattisgarh state government [Registered]

In order to increase sugar production in the state, Chhattisgarh government on 8th August said it will set up a new sugar factory in Kabirdham district, reports Press Trust of India. This would be the fourth sugar mill in the state and second in Kabirdham. “Chief Minister Raman Singh has given in-principle approval to the proposed action plan for the factory, to be set up in Pandariya area of the district, during a meeting at his official residence here on Friday [8th August],” a public relation department official said.
