India – Haryana’s first ethanol plant commences operations [Registered]

Haryana’s first ethanol plant became operational in early May at the Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited according to Business Standard. The plant built by the US company Geo Cam has a capacity of over 45,000 litres, and boasts an investment of INR 2.5 crore (US$418,000) worth 0f modern technology. The plant was inaugurated by chairperson of Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mills and Deputy Commissioner Panipat, Ajit Balaji.
