Hurricane Isaac lodges most of Louisiana’s cane crop [Registered]

The entire sugarcane crop in Louisiana has experienced some degree of lodging as a result of the hurricane Isaac, according to Kenneth Gravois, Audubon Sugar Institute, Louisiana, who has spoken with Windell Jackson, with the American Sugar Cane League, several county agents, and a few growers to assess other areas of the state and has himself visited various farms .
