Germany – Cultivars tolerant to Syndrome Basses Richesses disease to be introduced in 2022 [Registered]

The bacterial disease SBR (Syndrome Basses Richesses), spread by the leafhopper (Pentastridius leporinus), is prevalent in Germany and Switzerland. It can decrease beet yields by 45%.
