EU urged to revise biofuels law [Registered]

Farmers worldwide will need to convert some 69 000 square kilometres of new land to help the EU meet its renewable energy targets – a requirement which will not only aggravate climate change but put serious pressure on poorer communities, according to a new study released on 8th November ‘10.
