EU launches BIO-QED project to drive bioeconomy [Registered]

Production of biobased petrochemical substitutes is the cornerstone of the new project called BIO-QED that is financed by the European Union as part of the Seventh Framework Programme. Launched on 1 January for an initial period of four years, the project brings together 10 partners from six different European countries ((Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Croatia and Spain).
