Cow rumen – potentially useful source of enzymes for cellulosic biofuels [Registered]

One of the central challenges in the production of cellulosic biofuels is the pre-treatment process whereby C5 and C6 sugars in cellulose and hemi-cellulose are separated and made available for subsequent fermentation into biofuels.
