“Corn sugar”, please [Registered]

Beet sugar and cane sugar are not specifically labelled as such, but rather just sugar. But, all things being equal, “corn sugar” will be tripping off tongues if the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepts the name change from high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) petitioned by The Corn Refiners’ Association on 16th Sept ’10. The name change request is a direct response to the adverse public perception and concern that HFCS poses health risk.
