Researchers at Vanderbilt University have discovered another use for graphene which might have huge industry implications. They found that graphene, applied on metals whether in a single layer application or in a multi-layer formation, affords incredible corrosion resistance. The research led by Kirill Bolotin is reported in ACS Nano (2012, 6 (2):1102-1108).
