Clariant’s cellulosic ethanol production technology processes corn stover and cane bagasse [Registered]

Following the opening of Germany’s largest demonstration plant for producing cellulosic ethanol from agricultural residues in July 2012, using its proprietary the sunliquid® technology, Clariant has added corn stover and sugarcane bagasse to the list of feedstocks that the technology can successfully process.
