UK – Sugar use in soft drinks drops by 29% as companies reformulate their products [Full subscriber]

Researchers at Oxford University recently found that the soft drinks industry, amidst clamour against sugar, have responded by changing their products portfolio whereby there has been a significant reduction in the use of sugar. They found that there was a 29% reduction in the total amount of sugar sold in soft drinks in the UK between 2015-2018.
