Brazil – Cane campaign in Sao Paulo ends a month earlier [Registered]

Reduced cane supply has hastened the early end of campaign in Sao Paulo. Mills began shutting down about 30 to 40 days earlier than expected. The last time similar situation occurred was 12 years ago. Celso Junqueira Franco, president of the Union of Biofuel Producers (UDOP) was quoted by Bloomberg as saying “This is a very early end of the season”.
