Bio-based alternative for coated paper industry from EcoSynthetix [Registered]

EcoSynthetix has invented a biolatex binder produced from renewable feedstocks as an alternative to petrochemical binders. EcoSphere®, the company’s first biolatex product, is a dry biopolymer nanoparticle agglomerate powder that can be used dry or pre-dispersed in water. An estimated 15 billion pounds (6.8 billion kg) of petroleum-based latex are used in products annually.
