Bosch Projects signed a multimillion-dollar contract with the Marubeni Corporation on April 24 to undertake the largest greenfield sugar project in Angola. This project, which entails the design of a sugar and ethanol factory will process 20 000 t/day of cane to produce 100 International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis (Icumsa) white sugar and ethanol from molasses, according to Bosch Projects MD Bill Yeo speaking to Engineering News online.
